Though several fitness buffs may have headed to VASA Fitness in Indianapolis, Indiana to strengthen their guns on Tuesday evening, they got a whole lot more ammo than they bargained for — literally — after a shooter stormed the premises.

It remains unclear what prompted the shooting, one that left a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy injured, per local news outlet WTHR, yet a now-viral clip captured the chaos of those fateful moments, ones defined by running and screaming.

But even though the damage was relatively minor — as “minor” as gun violence can be — gym goer Eloise Eve explained just how much the incident impacted her and other frequenters of VASA Fitness.

"It's very sad that something like this could happen in this space that means so much to all of us," she told the publication.
